Few Pictures to Enjoy

Hi Everyone, The first two pictures are what I call "Cookies made with Love". My roommate Olga is getting married and the first couple days after I returned she was busy making a birthday present for her fiance and his twin brother. I was so fascinated with her creativity I snapped a couple of photos of the cookie-making process. In Czech culture it is quite common for someone to make a gift like this as a birthday present. It took her several late nights to complete the present that is why I call it in Czech--it translates "cookies with love"!

I've also had time to connect again with Czech friends. They are very happy to have me back living with them. The third picture is with two of my single friends Lenka and Jarka. I got to enjoy seeing Jarka's new apartment and hearing all the things God did in blessing her with her new home. We of course spoke Czech and I'm excited at how much I understood and I continue to take my baby steps in speaking Czech. God is so good and I'm rejoicing over the opportunity to serve here once again.
