B-Day

Today is my 45th birthday. I enjoyed my day. I first attended my Czech language class & I had decided to surprise my teacher & classmates with something to help me celebrate my special day. When I was walking through the grocery store yesterday--looking for something to bring to class--I came across something that I love to eat--ice cream. And what made it all the more perfect was that the ice cream I came across was packaged in these special styrofoam containers. The weather has been gorgeous lately and these containers would help keep the ice cream from melting. Everyone in class laughed when I started serving them small dishes of ice cream. Remember this was Czech class so of course I had to explain everything in Czech (and many times I have shared that my favorite food when it is nice outside is ice cream :-)

Later I took a stroll around the city and went to several of my favorite places. Later in the evening I met up with friends who helped me celebrate my birthday. The best part was the verse they shared with me found in Jeremiah 32,41 "Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul." My friends then shared how they see God has planted me among them and that He is caring for me & watering me then in His time God will bring forth the fruit. It really touched me that they would think of such a beautiful analogy of how they view me as I live among them. God used it to really encouraged me.
